The Village KC is a 501(c)(3) youth organization that has been serving 5th-12th grade students in the Greater Kansas City Area since 2020.
Our mission is to create access to life affirming opportunities for Black 5th-12th grade students.
By cultivating a safe space, these experiences will help them grow, have fun, and become change agents in their community.

At VKC, we value COMMUNITY. We acknowledge the wealth of knowledge and resources that reside among us.
We understand that our children's future is dependent on the village making our presence known, and showing up in their lives. Therefore, we all must be STAKEHOLDERS in the upbringing, support, discipline, and encouragement of our youth.
Whether it's Black business owners, church leaders, educators, etc. - - - everyone has a PLACE and a PURPOSE in the village.

The "Village" concept only becomes a reality when the community is involved. Our youth must see that there are adults who are invested in their success, and are willing to lay the foundation.
In other words - - - REPRESENTATION MATTERS.
We invite you to "be the village" by volunteering, becoming a partner, or giving a monetary and/or in-kind donation towards our mission.
