Our Mission Is To Prepare Our Future.

The Village KC is a 501c3 non-profit organization that serves middle and high school students in the Greater Kansas City Area.

We focus our programs/initiatives in the areas of holistic health, college preparation/career options, and recreational activities.

Making sure that teens have access to opportunities that will shape their lives is vitally important. The Village creates safe spaces for our youth to learn, grow, have fun, and become change agents in their community.

We Value The Sustainability of Community.

In order to make sure that our children's future is secure, we must make sure that our community is well equipped, and invested in the youth. The Village KC is intentional about providing resources to families through viable partnerships, sponsorships, and volunteerism.

We also make the connection to community by promoting Black owned businesses, and other Black led organizations. When our businesses thrive, and our youth see representation in business & leadership, we serve our overall mission.

"Be The Village" is more than just a hashtag.

The "Village" concept only becomes a reality when the community is invested. Our youth have to see that there are adults who are interested in their success, and are willing to lay the foundation. There are several ways to get involved at the Village--- volunteerism, partnership, or by becoming a Friend of the Village.
